![]() The Gold Queen’s Suggestions for Changing Inscription Your Aquatic Form now appears as a Tideskipper Dolphin.Your Swift Flight Travel Form appears as your more humble racial flyer.Your Aquatic Form now appears as a Dolphin. Here’s the latest glyphs added to inscription in Battle for Azeroth: Now, Inscription is more concerned with appearances. Inscription used to deal with spells, abilities that you used to buy from your class trainer, but which were removed from the game. Stop giving Inscription all the little bits and pieces leftover that no other profession wants! ![]() Inscription is currently a mess, and keeps changing every expansion. We have three inks, books, scrolls of unlocking (lockpicks!?), contracts for increased reputation gain, vantus runes, cards and off hands. In Battle for Azeroth, your inscription max is now 150, and you learn either Zandalari Inscription or Kul Tiran Inscription Vantus runes were invented, and players with scribe alts were worried that they couldn’t get the inscription quests done. So hard, that I wrote 5 part guides on how to do it step by step with TSM3 Legion Changes Players routinely spent hours milling, crafting, and posting 4 of every glyph on the market. What we didn’t see coming was post-Cataclysm, and into Mists of Pandaria, glyphs became a huge, fast moving commodity. So on the day of the change, every player went to the auction house and bought the glyphs they needed. Players, including gold makers, were worried that because glyphs were becoming permanent, no one would want to buy them ever again. Can you remember when 45g was a lot of gold? Seems pitiful now! This is what Glyphmas 2010 looked like when I had 4000 pre-made glyphs ready for the changes that came in Cataclysm. ![]() in 2010 Glyphs changed to become permanent, like this: Inscription was how I made my first gold cap. (Demon Hunter glyphs all take Legion mats, so no glyphing anything there if you've preordered 'til Legion proper anyway.Something a bit different today: Not a gold guide, but a suggested idea and a way to make the world feel a little bit more unique and the players a little bit more special. There also isn't a Glyph of Detection anymore so if you've got a rogue who's been twiddling their thumbs on getting the Survivor's Bag of Coins you may want to do that now I don't know if they've changed it so you don't need that glyph anymore or it's a book like Fetch (which you also won't be able to pick up 'til Legion proper cos it's sold at the order hall >:(, at least I have a lootarang 'til actual Legion drop) or what the deal is there. Also of note, since I remember there being a very divided opinion on the "new" travel form here back during Warlords PTR/Beta: Glyph of the Stag is gone BUT there's a book at the druid Order Hall that will teach it to you as a "baseline" ability, so you can still carry people around or RP as a stag once Legion drops (though you'll mostly be out of luck between 7.0 drop and then). Some glyphs (like the Observer glyph) seem to have their drop in old content (Broggok in Blood Furnace, for example) but it still requires the Legion mats to make so probably only something to bother with in advance if you have the downtime to do so. Shadowy Friends (3x Blackfallow Ink, also the fact that Shadow and Shadowy Friends are mutally exclusive is dumb)Įverything else requires Legion mats (Sallow Pigment and Roseate Pigment) and/or is sold/dropped in Legion content. Lesser Proportion (3x Ink of Dreams, RIP no dire beast glyphs 'til Legion proper)Ĭrackling Tiger Lightning (3x Blackfallow Ink) Hunters only have one existing glyph that carries over which is dumb, but here's the list for all classes:Ĭhameleon (Bear form version) (3x Blackfallow Ink) Glyphs made in advance that still exist in Legion DO transfer safely from live to PTR/beta, so if you wanted to purchase or make certain glyphs now to have access to them right away, you could do that. When 7.0 drops the ink trader will stop taking Warbinder's Ink and will require the new Legion ingredients instead, so it may be worth stocking up on the necessary inks if you have a surplus of Draenor herbs or pigments or inks or feel like farming the older herbs while there's not much else to do. Since I was making this list for myself I figured I'd share it since this seems to be the thread to do it, haha.
