The manner in which these reasons are presented is just as important as their content, for the same passage that instructs us to be prepared to give reasons for our hope concludes by admonishing us to do this “with gentleness and respect.” In other words, the gospel of Christ shoud always be presented and defended in a spirit of love. Providing reasons and evidences for faith, however, is only one aspect of Christian apologetics.
